Week 16A

Today in class I presented my website and received feedback from my peers.

• Footer, images under the back this button is very  sleek and well done 
• Header edge tension ( no need for the blue) 
• Everything on my website appears to be very large
• <h1> tag is too large in the font size
• Body font tag is also too large 
• Features image is cut off at the top of the image 
• Change the blue in the fill drop and shape section to match the other blue
• Limit images ( no need for so many)

Week 15B

Today in class there were presentations and I did not go

Week 15 out of class

This week  out of class was spent finalizing everything for Wednesday. I had to mainly finish the bottom of the webpage which meant working on the footer and the feature section of the website. The main problem I hit was the fact that the footer took way more organizing than I thought it would. I didn't realize that all the individual ions would have to be separate so that they could have their own links.

The next problem I ran into was not being able to center all the icons. I tried so many different things but nothing would work out.

Overall I think my website turned out pretty good there are some things I would change. 

       

Week 15A

This class things really started moving for me. Since I figured out the divs and columns I was able to continue working my way down the page. So when I had the code set in stone I was able to continue down the page boxing out all my content area.

Also, I learned that it would be a good idea to show some illustration on the webpage. So I decided to go and make a diagram illustrating the process of how the cup could be used. It did take a while but I feel like it could really add to the overall appearance.

Week 14B

This class was all about making more content for my website. I was looking on the kickstarter and noticed so many photos and i wanted to think of a creative way to display them. So I started putting them into illustrator and making a very interesting grid, to lay all the images into circles evenly spaced. 
The main reason I started focusing on content was because I ran into a problem with my code. which in the end was something as simple as forgetting to clove a div in my html.

Week 14 Outside of class

For this week outside of class was spent working on my second style tile. this tile was basically the same with a different color pallet and a different texture. For the most part, I wanted to keep the same font and the same button style. The texture was made different since I wanted to change the feel. Instead of a harsh brick pattern, I went with a more lattice approach. The colors I decided to move down the spectrum and go for more reds and yellows. I think that they look good but I don't know if they would be very effective. Also, I went with the idea of a beveled button, but I don't think that would look right so I think I'm going with a more solid button. 

Week 14A

Today in class I decided to start thinking about what I wanted to have my website layout look like and how I would go about achieving that. So as i first began coding I learned that just placing a div with a colored back ground was the easiest way without going content crazy. 

What I learned was that I couldn't just position a div and I needed to use columns and different containers to do what I wanted. I wasn't able to just move a div all around and I needed to use diffren tags to get things to look correct.
